Many years ago, we started a tradition that combines the fun and festive part of the xmas holiday with the stress-free experience of a gathering of our closest friends, without the burden of weird uncles, religious trappings, or any of the other things that make the traditional holiday season such a bummer for a lot of us. We decided that March is the perfect time, after the hectic normal holidays, and before the start of summer, when there isn’t really any other big celebration to distract us.
